Mema Auto Assessors Limited was founded by two professionals, Maurice Juma and Bernard Meso. Our company's foundation is based on hands-on experience in motor vehicle assessment, motor valuation, repair costing, and pre- and post-accident vehicle inspection and valuation. We pride ourselves in providing unrivalled service delivery levels and efficiency.
Our in-house motor assessors have a broad spectrum of pooled experience and qualifications, enabling them to handle any assessment with efficiency and draw on each other's knowledge when necessary in order to arrive at the best possible decision.
The company is authorized and regulated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) under membership number IRA/13/278. Our assessors are registered members of the Motor Assessors Association of Kenya (MAAK).
We are confident, and have proven over the years, our ability to provide quality, accurate and very reliable reports after vehicle inspections — be it for assessments, re-inspection, valuation, technical or mechanical review. We gained our experience over a long period working in reputable firms before initiating the idea to start our own practice and put our valuable experience into full effect.

Maurice holds a Diploma in Technology (Automotive Engineering) from The Technical University of Kenya and a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance from The College of Insurance.
He has wide experience in motor valuation and accident assessment for all types of motor vehicles. After an apprenticeship at Kenya Vehicle Manufacturers Ltd, he began his career as a motor assessor at Pragmatec Assessors Ltd, carrying out valuations for various insurance companies as well as private valuations for collateral for banks and court bonds. In 2014 he joined Autotech Motor Assessors as a motor assessor and valuer. Prior to forming Mema Auto Assessors Ltd, Maurice worked with Metropolitan Motor Assessors for 6 years as a Senior Motor Assessor, carrying out valuations and accident assessments for various insurance companies and financing institutions, and attending court sessions for report presentation.
Bernard holds a Diploma in Technology (Automotive Engineering) from The Technical University of Kenya and a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance from The College of Insurance. He is a registered and active member of the Motor Assessors Association of Kenya (MAAK).
Bernard started his career in the motor industry at Roy Transmotors as an apprentice in 2013. Later that year he joined Integrated Assessors as a motor assessor trainee, and in mid-2014 joined Autofield Assessors as a motor assessor and valuer — later promoted to a senior assessor role heading the Mount Kenya Region. While at Autofield Assessors, he gained experience in motor accident assessment, motor valuation and court attendance for report presentation. Prior to founding Mema Auto Assessors, Bernard worked with Brijack Assessors for three years, gaining further experience in vehicle technical inspection and technical report compilation while heading the Mt. Kenya Region.
Our head office is located at Park Road Business Centre, along the Ngara–Park road off Thika Superhighway. We also serve various parts of the country through our regional branches, equipped with the facilities to enable prompt and efficient service to our clients.
Our technical personnel are mobile and flexible, always ready to offer services on call within Nairobi and other regions where we have established branches. We remain ready to expand our service region to meet our clients' needs.
